While the NHL and the AHL had their all-star games their where still plenty of hockey games going on showcasing the future of the Wild franchise.  So I will do my best and try and get you caught up.

Lets start with the NCAA.  Both Erik Haula and Jason Zucker where in action this past weekend as the Minnesota Golden Gophers took on St. Cloud State and the Denver Pioneers battled with Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves.  Erik Haula had an assist Friday night and a goal on Saturday as the Gophers won both their games by a score of 2-1 and 3-2.  Jason Zucker had a goal and 2 assists over the weekend as the Pioneers swept the Seawolves by scores of 4-2 and 6-3.

Up in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Zack Phillips had a goal and Charlie Coyle had 2 assists as the Saint Johns Sea Dogs beat Blainville-Boisbriand by a score of 6-3.  The Sea Dogs are currently leading the QMJHL with 74 points.

Over in Finland,  Mikael Granlund is currently 3rd in total points with 45 and 2nd in goals scored with 19.  He is going to need to able to score more goals if he wants to become an impact player for the Wild.

That is all for now.  I will have info on future Wild players as the arise.  See ya later!
