Countdown To Granlund

Time to get excited, fellow Wild fans…with the World Championships over, nothing stands between Mikael Granlund and a signed contract with Minnesota. Give it a few days, it’ll happen. Lots of red tape to cut through as with any international player.

Russo had a great injury update yesterday. In short, just about everyone has recovered with the possible exception of Bouchard. What do I see for next year? I don’t see Latendresse returning. It’s too bad because he’s our best front-of-net man, but he’s just too injury-prone. Bouchard has another year on his contract. I agree with Russo that Lundin is likely gone. Healthy or not, he just isn’t contributing enough.
