Derrick Willis, Lead Blogger. I’ve been a hockey fan since about 1991 which just so happened to be the cinderella season for Minnesota. I however must confess I started to follow hockey that year because Tampa (which is where I was living at the time) was due to welcome the Lightning in 1992. I am originally from Wichita and I am stationed in Missouri right now. My wife is from Minnesota and we are hoping to relocate to the Minnesota area in the next couple years. So you can thank her for this upstart blog….or write her hate mail if you think I stink at blogging. Either way I am here now and the “State of Hockey” now has pro coverage on fansided.com.
