The Wild return to action and it’s trade deadline day! The Wild aren’t expected to make any moves but that didn’t stop Michael Russo from stirring the pot a bit hahaha
"10:22 p.m. EST: Our first bit of trade deadline-instigated hilarity today, as Michael Russo of the Star Tribune tweets “Robbie Earl on his way to Calgary” with regard to the Minnesota Wild AHL player. As in “called up to the Wild, who plays in Calgary.” Naturally, this Twitter news was quickly turned around by “insiders” as being a trade. Which it wasn’t. Which makes this the kind of thing we’ll see about 10,000 times before the end of the day. Best news of the morning with regard to a possible blockbuster: Darren Dreger of TSN reports that Edmonton Oilers defenseman Sheldon Souray(notes) “has softened…won’t go to a Canadian team, but will waive for 19 other teams.”"
