Iowa Wild Announce Preseason Schedule

This week the Minnesota Wild’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Iowa Wild, announced their preseason schedule for the 2014-15 season. The team will have a home-and-home match against the Chicago Wolves on October 1 and October 3.

The teams will first face off in Des Moines at Wells Fargo Arena on October 1. The Wild will sign autographs following the game and a silent auction will be held to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Iowa. Tickets go on sale August 8 and will cost $6 in advance.

The second game will take place in Hoffman Estates, IL on October 3 at the Wolves’ practice facility.

The two games take place on alternating days with the Minnesota Wild’s final two preseason games on October 2 and 4. As the team begins to send players back to Iowa following the team’s first four preseason games, there should be a good handful of exciting prospects joining in the Iowa games. Though the best players that will wind up in Iowa will likely stay with the parent club until the end of the preseason.
