Wild give good effort but still lose big

The Wild have huge roster problems with all of the injuries and have also have given questionable efforts in some of their games. Against the Oilers, they played hard but another poor performance by Harding was just too much to overcome.

It’s hard to imagine that the Wild could win very many games with all of the injured players but if Backstrom and Harding play well they could pull out some wins while the injured players get healthy. Unfortunately, Hardin has been horrible and Backstrom just average. Questionable play in front of them does not help either.

The loss to the Oilers came on the heels of the disappointing loss to the Ducks. It was another game whwere a couple of sloppy plays lost an otherwise well played game by the Wild.

Coming into tonights game the Wild will need to play much more sound and clean game to come out with a victory over division rival Vancouver. If they can eliminate those collosal errors and gets solid goaltending they could pick up a couple of wins.
