In return, Minnesota will likely reassign forwards Jake Dowell and Carson McMillan. It is believed Jason Pominville did not travel with the team to Denver.

The Aeros are coming off a 3-0 victory in the first game of their Round One AHL playoff series with Grand Rapids. Justin Fontaine scored twice and Darcy Kuemper stopped 36-of-36 to secure the shutout win for Houston. Veilleux received the primary assist on Fontaine’s second goal of the night. If he plays, it will be his season debut with Minnesota after playing all season with the Aeros. In 19 games with the Wild, Zucker has four goals and an assist for five points, eight penalty minutes and a plus-4 rating on the season.
