Nino Niederreiter Hits The Swiss Cover of NHL 15

This week, Minnesota Wild winger Nino Niederreiter posted a preview of the Swiss cover of EA Sports’ NHL 15, where he graces the cover.

Niederreiter was a key component of a surprisingly solid Team Switzerland at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, one of only nine NHL players on the team. The other NHL players included Jonas Hiller, Reto Berra, Yannick Weber, Mark Streit, Raphael Diaz, Simon Moser, Roman Josi, and Damien Brunner.

His performance in Sochi, as well as his heroic Game 7 OT game-winning goal over Colorado in the first round of the playoffs, surely aided in his getting the honor.
