Watch Every Matt Dumba Goal From the 2013-14 Season

This is a short one. Matt Dumba played 13 NHL games last season before returning to the WHL to play his first season with the Portland Winterhawks. Dumba wound up posting eight goals and 16 assists through 26 games for Portland and just a goal and an assist for the Wild.

The offensive numbers weren’t as sunny during his short stint in Minnesota, but it appeared to largely be a learning operation as Dumba was a healthy scratch a number of times to keep him with the team and learning before he went back to the WHL and represented Canada at the World Junior Tournament.

Dumba did manage to score his first NHL goal while with the Wild though. Watch it below and expect to see a lot more of Dumba this season.

10/12/13 vs. Dallas Stars

DAL 1 – MIN 5

Dumba notched his first NHL goal in this blowout against the Stars. He stepped in, found some open ice, and looked exactly as happy as someone scoring their first NHL goal should look.
