Iowa Wild Reveal Training Camp Schedule

With the Minnesota Wild’s training camp underway and the preseason opener in Winnipeg within sight, the Wild’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Iowa Wild, has announced their training camp schedule.

Players will report for physicals in Iowa on September 25, with the team hitting the ice in Des Moines for the first time on the 26th. On September 27 and 28 the team will host open practices at Wells Fargo Arena beginning at 10:30am. Admission is free.

Players who will be joining Iowa, but are currently at Minnesota Wild camp, may not join the team immediately, but will find their way down to Iowa as roster cuts are announced in St. Paul and we approach the start of the NHL season.

As previously mentioned, the Iowa Wild will open their preseason on October 1 against the Chicago Wolves in the first half of a home-and-home. Iowa Wild season ticket holders will get into the preseason game for free and tickets are available for $6 to non-season ticket holders.
