Josh Harding Injured in Iowa Wild Game Saturday

The Iowa Wild played (are playing, as of this writing) the Charlotte Checkers in Charlotte on Saturday night. Josh Harding got the start in net, but as Joe O’Donnell notes in the tweet below, John Curry led the team out for the start of the third period.

Harding did finish the second period but wasn’t out on the bench for the start of the third. He allowed two goals on 21 shots through the first two periods.

The Star Tribune’s Rachel Blount points out a tweet from a user who noted that Harding looked like he got hurt following a shot.

That’s all the news there is for now. Could be minor. (Read: So don’t lose your mind over it yet.)

More details on this as we find out about Harding’s status after the game. Follow @WildJoeRadio for live updates on the game and updates on Harding’s status as well.

Obviously terrible news for the Wild. Hopefully the injury isn’t too bad and Harding will be able to bounce back.

Update 12/07/14, 10:10am
The Star Tribune’s Michael Russo reports that Harding left Saturday’s game due to dehydration, according to Chuck Fletcher.
