Playoff Odds
The Wild’s playoff odds are down .5% since yesterday to 39.2%, according to Sports Club Stats. The Vancouver Canucks beating the Chicago Blackhawks in overtime last night didn’t help the Wild out. They got a little boost from the Washington Capitals beating the San Jose Sharks, but that game went into overtime, so it wasn’t much help. The Sharks got a point out of it.

More from Wild News

The Wild stand to get a 4.9% boost in their odds if they take away two points tonight. They will also benefit from a Nashville Predators win over the Winnipeg Jets, a Calgary Flames win over the Los Angeles Kings, and a New York Rangers win over the Colorado Avalanche.

The boost from a Flames win is small, just .7%. The Wild go down .2% with a Kings win. So that’s a marginal game and the Wild just really don’t want that to turn into a three-point game.
