Iowa Wild Sign Ian Schultz, Extend Danny Syvret
The Iowa Wild have signed forward Ian Schultz of the Allen Americans (ECHL) to a professional tryout (PTO).

the 25-year-old winger has spent his season with the Americans scoring 19 goals and 18 assists through 37 games. He’s a former third round draft pick for the St. Louis Blues who spent time with the Hamilton Bulldogs in the AHL. After three seasons with Hamilton, he’s spent the majority of the last three seasons bouncing around the ECHL.
Schultz will draw into the Iowa lineup on Wednesday night when they take on the Charlotte Checkers in Charlotte.
In other Iowa Wild news they have signed defenseman Danny Syvret to another PTO, extending his current stay with Iowa. He has three goals and 14 assists through 51 games this season.
