Check out the Alaska Aces Hall of Fame Weekend Jerseys. The team has just unveiled the look they’ll sport for two games — February 20 and 21 — at Sullivan Arena in Anchorage during the team’s hall of fame weekend. Get a look at the front of these good looking jerseys above.
The weekend will center around inducting the inaugural class of players into the new Alaska Aces Hall of Fame. The inductees include players from the team’s time as the Anchorage Aces in the PNHL, PSHL, and the WCHL. They became the Alaska Aces and moved to the ECHL at the start of the 2003-04 season. The jerseys will be worn in both games as well as warm-ups and auctioned off following Saturday’s game.

The inaugural Aces Hall of Fame class features people voted on by Aces season ticket holders. The inductees will include Keith Street, Dean Larson, Kimbi Daniels (who spent time with the Philadelphia Flyers and Minnesota Moose), Mike Scott (who played junior hockey with the Sioux City Musketeers), public address voice Bob Lester, and “longtime season ticket holder” Bobby Hill.
The ceremony will happen during the first intermission of both weekend games, with three inductees being inducted each night. The Aces will also have videos on each player/inductee at the games and on their YouTube channel. You can watch a couple of those below. Keith Street’s story in particular is pretty great.

The Aces will take on the Utah Grizzlies both nights and will likely still be without a number of players who have been drawn up to the Iowa Wild with the bevy of injuries that have taken place there and at the NHL level with Minnesota. Among the players in the AHL are Greg Wolfe (second on the team in scoring), Olivier Archambault (fourth on the team in scoring), Ryan Walters (seventh on the team in scoring while playing just 26 of 48 games), forward Jason Gregoire (seven points in 15 games), defenseman Brad Richard, and Raphael Bussieres, who had been down with the Aces and is now out injured after being called up to Iowa.
We’ll add a link here later if we discover that there will be an online portion of the auction for the Alaska Aces Hall of Fame Weekend Jerseys.
