1. Road Point Record

The Wild have earned 46 points on the road this season with a record of 22-14-2 on the road. That’s a franchise record for most road points in a single season.

2. 115 Multi-point games

With a multi-point effort against Los Angeles on Saturday (2-1–3), Mikko Koivu set a franchise record with 115 career multi-point games. He bested Marian Gaborik‘s mark of 114, who happened to be on the opposing bench as Koivu set the mark.

In addition that game was the first time since December 4, 2009 that two Wild players have scored multiple goals in the same game, according to Elias. That game also had Koivu scoring a pair, the other Wild player was Antti Miettinen.

3. Road Streak

We know the Wild’s 10-game road winning streak is a franchise record, as is Dubnyk’s 10 straight on the road. But according to Elias Sports Bureau, only two other goaltenders have ever won ten straight road games. Jimmy Howard went 10-0-0 for the Red Wings in 2010-11 and Carey Price went 10-0-0 for the Montreal Canadiens earlier this season.

The Wild are the first team to win 10 straight road games since the San Jose Sharks did it in 2007.

4. Parises in the Coliseum

Zach Parise scored the only Wild goal and the only shootout goal in a Wild win at Nassau Coliseum on Tuesday. That will, short of an Islanders vs. Wild Stanley Cup Final, be the final Wild game at the Coliseum. In the very first Minnesota North Stars game at the Coliseum, J.P. Parise, a former Islander, scored the team’s only two goals in a 4-2 loss.

Zach Parise also hit the 30-goal mark this week. He reaches 30 for the sixth time in his career and the first time with the Wild. He’s just the fourth player to ever hit 30 in a Wild uniform. The others are Gaborik (5 times), Brian Rolston (3 times), and Jason Pominville (once, last season).

5. 20-goal Milestone

Thomas Vanek hit the 20-goal mark this week. He’s only one of three active players who have hit the 20-goal mark in each of their first ten seasons. Jaromir Jagr did it in his first 17 seasons (a streak that came to an end when he was 39, he crossed it again at 41) and Alex Ovechkin has hit it in his first ten (active record).

6. 35 Straight Starts

Devan Dubnyk‘s franchise-record (and the longest mark this season) of 35 straight starts rolls on. At 34 he tied Antti Niemi‘s mark from 2011 (2010-11 season). The most recent mark higher than Dubnyk’s 34 was Dwayne Roloson starting 36 straight games in 2009 (2008-09 season).

It’s not just an impressive run of starts, he’s been impressive in those games. He has a 1.70 GAA, .939 Sv%, and has allowed two goals or fewer in 26 of those 34 games with a record of 26-6-1.

7. 100 Career Point

With an assist on a Nino Niederretier goal in Saturday’s win over Los Angeles, Jared Spurgeon collected his 100th career point. That’s a nice milestone for a 25-year-old defenseman who keeps getting better.

Please don’t trade him Chuck Fletcher.

8. 49 Points

The Wild have 49 points in 30 games since the All-Star break. That’s the best among all NHL teams.
