Minnesota Wild Fans – Join FanSided Today

Gone Puck Wild has steadily grown as FanSided’s home for Minnesota Wild coverage dating back to when the site was first launched. The Wild have seen plenty of changes to their roster in that time frame, not to mention the full gamut of on-ice successes and failures, and so too has the staff here on site. The constant has always been our goal here on site: to give you folks, our readers, the very best Wild discussion that we possibly can.

The 2015-2016 season is primed and ready to start.  The Minnesota Wild are looking to build on their success from last season. Do they have what it takes to rival the best of the West? We want you on board with us before the regular season starts – so apply today.

Consider yourself a passionate fan? Read us or other Minnesota Wild sites with regularity and ever wonder if you should write about the team too? Maybe you’re just stumbling across us for the first time and you like what you see.   Maybe your family and friends have told you to start writing about the team.  It is time to dust off your old North Stars sweater and bring your hockey knowledge to the table.

We are looking to add to our staff here on site and this could be your chance to grab a stick and join the team.

Gone Puck Wild is currently looking to fill multiple roles on site, from contributors to a paid editor – we have a spot for the average fan, or the rabid puck eater, so whatever category you fall into – we have a spot for you.

Expectations

We like to let our staff write about the aspects of the team they are most passionate about. There’s room for those interested in covering the minor leagues. Maybe you’re more of a transaction junkie and you want to talk about the impact a new signing or trade could have. Or even just chipping in on series previews, roundtable discussions on staff about how the team should approach the offseason or whether a big move is needed to get them back on top, or helping with a number of other potential story ideas there could be a place for you here on the team.

Contributing Writers are asked to contribute 1-2 posts per week. We’ll always welcome more frequent contributions than that, but we won’t require it. Editors provide daily content, and manage the social media and maintenance of the site.  Either way – we have a spot that fits into your life.

We know that for most this is mostly a hobby and something you do for the love of it. That’s why we do it too, as most of us have families, full-time careers, and/or school to balance into our lives as well (there’s room for things besides hockey, right?). This is an opportunity to join a staff of writers here who are just simply passionate about the Minnesota Wild and want to continue to reach the rest of this great fan base.

Want to join us?

Applying is very easy. Head on over and complete an application. It’ll give you a chance to share some insight into your background (prior online writing experience is not necessary but always encouraged) and let us know why you’d be a fit on site, so give it your best. We’ll be in touch from there.

If you have any questions about the roles, please feel free to email kyle.franzoni@fansided.com or timothy.redinger@fansided.com with any questions.
