"“I was looking at the NHL openings for a while, and kept looking at this site as a place I would like to work the most. The Minnesota Wild have one of the better fan bases among the entire NHL and I felt this was an opportunity I could not pass up. When you think of Minnesota you think of hockey, so the interest and intrigue is there and I feel this site can be great given the right amount of hard work and effort. I have my work cut out for me, but this is something I am very excited about.”"

Roethlisberger comes to Gone Puck Wild after writing for covering the Detroit Red Wings, while continuing his duties as co-editor of, covering the Green Bay Packers. He will begin to update the site immediately with the Wild’s first game just 29 days away.
