The Wild managed to snag one of the guys who made the top 5 of this ranking and I’m incredibly excited to see how Mats Zuccarello does. It’s not the flashiest name or the biggest get of the free agency period, but I see the addition as a drastic improvement to the roster. I can’t wait for October 3rd.

What does that leave for the rest of Summer? Some trades could occur, but I wouldn’t be betting on it. The word from St. Paul is that Fenton is excited to see how the players compete and perform for roster spots, hoping the internal pressure adds to the performance of the forward group.

RFA’s do still need to be signed, but I imagine that should go off without a hitch. Paul Fenton has just north of $9million to get that done.

Future posts will dive into the players drafted and some coverage of DaBeautyLeague. Be on the lookout for that.

As always, thanks for the read. I genuinely do appreciate it.

Go Wild.
