The Minnesota Wild have won five of six games and sole possession of first place in the Central Division standings.

Minnesota, which also is in second place  in the Western Conference overall with 10 victories, will look to continue that trend on Tuesday night in a matchup against the San Jose Sharks at the Xcel Energy Center.

The Sharks, who opened the season with four straight wins, have dropped two straight games and are in fifth place in the Pacific Division.

Tuesday is the first of a brief two-game homestand in St. Paul this week. The Wild host Dallas on Thursday before a weekend trip to the Sunshine State for matchups against the Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Lineups

Cam Talbot is scheduled to make another start for the Wild, and it appears the team will go with the same lineup as Saturday.
