Last but maybe not least is defenseman Dmitry Kulikov and I know this one is going to be a bit of an eyebrow raiser. Kulikov was brought in as part of the Wild’s defensive rebuild. Kulikov has been great for the Wild this season especially in absences of Jared Spurgeon and Jonas Brodin and quite honestly, there could be teams that look at the way he’s stepped up and potentially ponder acquiring him. The Wild would certainly have nothing to lose and all to gain with trading Kulikov as young defenseman Calen Addison could be promoted to the roster full-time as part of the fall out and the Wild could get good value on him as he is under contract for another season after this one.
