The Minnesota Wild have shown a flair for the dramatic over the past week.

Three straight overtime wins in as many contests has extended the team’s winning streak to six games. It is the third time this season that Minnesota has achieved a streak that long. That includes Kevin Fiala’s overtime winner on Sunday in a showdown with the Colorado Avalanche.

Minnesota, which sits in second place in the Central Division, looks to extend that run with a matchup against Philadelphia on Tuesday night.

Minnesota is 4-2 in its last six contests against the Flyers that includes a 5-4 win in Philadelphia on March 3. The Wild are 5-5-2 all-time in the series history in St. Paul.

Noah Cates, who just completed his career with Minnesota-Duluth last weekend in NCAA quarterfinal matchup against Denver, is expected to make his NHL debut with the Flyers. The Stillwater native signed a two-way, entry-level contract with Philadelphia on Sunday. He was selected in the fifth round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

Marc-Andre Fleury is scheduled to make his second start with the Wild on Tuesday night. He had 23 saves in his debut as Minnesota downed Columbus 3-2 in overtime on Saturday night. Fleury has a 30-19-2 career record against Philadelphia with a 2.91 goals against average and a .900 saves percentage.
