The Minnesota Wild begin the season with the roster than finished last year.

Or at least for the most part.

The team released its opening night roster on Tuesday and a lot of the familiar names are back — KIrill Kaprizov, Mats  Zuccarello, Marcus Foligno and Jared Spurgeon to name a few.

There are a few notable changes, obviously Kevin Fiala being one of the biggest. The popular forward was traded to the Los Angeles Kings during the offseason, a move that was anticipated all year.

Cam Talbot, who was the No.1 goalie for the majority of last season , was moved to Ottawa and will begin this year on the injured reserve list.

The Wild also skate into Thursday’s opener with forwards Jordan Greenway and Pavel Novak and defensemen Dakota Mermis and Jon Merrill as injured non-roster players.

But of the 21 active players on the roster, who are the biggest additions or an individual in a key position at the start of the year.

Here is a look at three.
