Hailing from the beautiful Land of 10,000 Lakes, Ben's exposure to hockey was limited to spectator and pep band member during several state tournament appearances through high school (Go Hornets!). Only after moving off to college in Eau Claire, WI did this cake-eater begin to seriously focus in on college and professional hockey. Now an avid Minnesota Wild fan, Ben lives in Madison, WI where he has taken up adult hockey and youth officiating. In addition to loving the Wild, Ben is a huge Gopher Hockey, Minnesota Twins, and UW- Eau Claire Blugold Hockey fan.
