Here is your weekly Minnesota Wild prospects update.

Alexandre Belanger, G, Round 7 2013

Belanger got two starts over the last week for the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles. On Friday he allowed seven goals on 31 shots for a .774 Sv%. But the team went back to him on Saturday, when he posted a .933 Sv% after stopping 28 of 30 shots.

Adam Gilmour, RW/C, Round 4 2012

Gilmour grabbed a goal and an assist in Boston College’s only game of the week, a 2-2 tie.

Pavel Jenys, C, Round 7 2014

Jenys and the Sudbury Wolves had a busy week, playing five games in seven days. In those five games they were able to pull out a single win over the Kitchener Rangers.

For his part Jenys had a goal and five assists in those games. That’s particularly impressive since Sudbury scored only 11 goals in those five games (they gave up 28 goals), meaning that Jenys had a hand in over half of the team’s goal in that stretch.

More from Prospects

Dylan Labbé, D, Round 4 2013

In two games over the last week for the Shawinigan Cataractes, Labbé scored one goal, which came in Saturday’s 7-5 loss to Blainville-Boisbriand. In that game he also led the team with three hits. Labbé also had a plus-2 rating in Friday’s 5-1 win over the Drummondville Bulldogs.

Chase Lang, C, Round 6 2014

This week saw the start of a very tough trek for Lang and the Calgary Hitmen. They’ll playing 12 of the season’s final 15 games on the road. In fact, starting this week, they won’t be back in Calgary until the end of the season with all three of those home games coming in the season’s final four games.

The Hitmen played three games this week — all three wins — and Lang posted a goal and two assists, collecting a point in each of the three games.

Mario Lucia, LW/RW, Round 2 2011

Lucia had a goal in a 3-2 Notre Dame win over Boston University and got five shots on net in a 2-2 with Boston U in their other match.

Lou Nanne, LW, Round 7 2012

Nanne scored a goal in one of RPI’s two games against Colgate over the weekend.

Carson Soucy, D, Round 5 2013

Soucy had a goal and two assists in a two-game set against fellow Wild prospect Louie Belpedio and the University of Miami (Ohio) Redhawks.

Alex Tuch, RW, Round 1 2014

Tuch had an assist on Adam Gilmour’s goal in Boston College’s 2-2 this week. That was the team’s only game of the week.

Hunter Warner, D, undrafted free agent

While Warner is out for the season and there isn’t likely to be much news on him around these parts, Hockey Wilderness posted a nice piece assessing his skill set. It’s worth a read.
