Minnesota Wild: Off on a short road trip to face the Blue Jackets

Devan Dubnyk and the Minnesota Wild hope to move on after a terrible loss to the Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday night.

Losing to the Coyotes on Tuesday had to be the most disappointing loss for the Minnesota Wild this season. Going into the third period, Minnesota was up 3-1. Arizona was up able to score three unanswered goals in the third to defeat Minnesota 4-3.

Despite a +/- of -4 on Tuesday, Matt Dumba still managed to extend his point streak to seven games (5-5=10). His seven-game point streak ties a franchise record set by Ryan Suter in 2013. Underrated defensemanJared Spurgeon recorded three assists on Tuesday.

Minnesota born Zach Parise extended his point streak to five games on Tuesday with a goal (4-1=5). Whilst, captain Mikko Koivu had an assist Tuesday, he has nine points (2-7=9) in the last seven games.

Per Daily FaceoffDevan Dubnyk will be between the pipes for the Minnesota Wild. Dubnyk had by far his worst outing of the season allowing four goals on 14 shots against the Coyotes on Tuesday. He is 9-6-2 with a 2.57 GAA and .925 SV% this season.

Opponent: Columbus Blue Jackets

Columbus last played Monday beating the Red Wings 7-5 in Detroit. They have won five of their last seven matches and are second in the Metropolitan Division.

The Blue Jackets are lead by one of the best lines in hockey. The line is Artemi Panarin (6-20-26), Cam Atkinson (15-10-25) and Pierre-Luc Dubois (12-10-22). They are also the top three scorers for Columbus.

November has been a strong month for the Blue Jackets. In 11 games Columbus is 7-2-2.

According to Daily Faceoff, Columbus has yet to name a starting goaltender for tonight’s game.
