Nick Bjugstad may be a new name to throw into contention to be possibly traded this season. Injuries in the Wild’s lineup have promoted several young forwards from Iowa this season. Bjugstad has fallen casualty to an injury himself and that may have very well opened up the door for him to lose his spot on the roster to some hopeful youth that was brought up from Iowa. The Wild have two options with Bjugstad when he returns from injury, either waive him for purpose of assigning him to the Taxi Squad or find a team that would interested in trading for him. Bjugstad would supply any team looking to make a playoff run with veteran depth off the hop but not much else.
