The Minnesota Wild fanbase waited a long time for the team to pick up that pivotal playoff series victory. Not only that, but to do so on home ice. They did just that on Thursday night, as they defeated the Dallas Stars 5-2 in Game 6 to win the series and advance to the second round.

The state of Minnesota was pumped up about the Wild. Timberwolves fans were cheering on the Wild's Game 6 win at the Target Center in Minneapolis while their team defeated the Denver Nuggets in Game 6 to advance to the second round of the NBA Playoffs. Plus, the Wild fans at Grand Casino Arena went nuts during the victory.

In case you needed another view of the fans celebrating on home ice, look no further than the clip posted on social media by Vikings offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw.

That's about as great of a camera angle of the fan's celebrating at the final buzzer as you can get. From anxiously waiting for the game clock to hit zero, to waving their towels above their head to celebrate.

Vikings players have made it a mission to support the Wild during their playoff run. Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson led the fans at Grand Casino Arena with a chant before Game 3. Also in attendance for that game included the likes of quarterback J.J. McCarthy and tight end T.J. Hockenson. In that game, the Wild lost 4-3 in double overtime.

The Wild will now look to continue their run against the Colorado Avalanche, who are considered the favorites to win the Stanley Cup. The Wild could very well have the momentum, and could be incrediby motivated after they defeated a tough Stars team. Meanwhile, the Avalanche made easy work of the Los Angeles Kings, sweeping them in the first round.

Once the Wild return to St. Paul for their second-round series against the Avalanche, don't be surprised if you see Vikings players in the stands again.
