Iowa Wild Drop Third Game Of Weekend
The Iowa Wild finished a three-in-three on Sunday against the Oklahoma City Barons with their third loss in as many days. The Wild dropped a 5-3 decision to OKC and are once again in the midst of a slump.
Iowa managed to open up the scoring with a Kurtis Gabriel goal coming just 6:03 into the game, with an assist going to Jonathon Blum. The Barons tied it up on the power play at the end of the period, but Gabriel notched his second goal of the game with only 19 seconds left in the period.

Olivier Archambault got the assist on the second Gabriel goal. He has a goal and two assists through four games on this call up.
Oklahoma City tied it up again early in the second. Brett Sutter grabbed a power play goal in the second — assist to Marc Hagel — giving the Wild their third lead of the game.
Oklahoma City would tie it up again before the end of the second.
The Barons would score twice more in the third — one an empty netter — to make the game 5-3 and grab the win.
John Curry got the start for the second of the weekend’s three games. He allowed four goals on 28 shots and took the loss.
Iowa remains in last place in the AHL with a record of 17-34-1-1.
